Oakland Technical High School plans to add its first ever rowing team to the list of sports opportunities for students, according to an announcement in the Oakland Tech PTSA's bulletin, the Bullhorn.
"This is an exciting development for Tech which offers not only great exercise and state competitions, but college scholarship opportunities as well," the Bullhorn says.
A meeting for parents of students interested in participating is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 20, at 6 p.m. in the school library, 4351 Broadway, Oakland.
