Video Preview: Claremont MS Science Night

Claremont Middle School science teacher Ian Lesser and about 10 CMS students built this hovercraft last Saturday, in time to show it off tonight, Jan. 17, at the school's Science Night.

Community members are welcome to attend the free event — it's especially recommended for families with children in third, fourth and fifth grade who are prospective CMS students and curious about science.

Activities begin with an "Earth Science Dinner" at 5:45 p.m., followed by "Atomic Physics Dessert" (liquid nitrogen ice cream) at 7 p.m. Also on the agenda: guest speakers and 10 science stations to visit.
