An Oakland clothes manufacturer that sells to 200 retail outlets across the country has opened her first store in Rockridge. Lesley Evers' shop on College Avenue near the BART station opened a little more than a week ago. A grand opening is planned for Feb. 8. The new store is down the street from which sells the Lesley Evers line of women's clothing.

The Zatis restaurant is closing up shop. The owner told Patch she has sold the facility at 4029 Piedmont Ave. and is getting out of the restaurant business. She said her restaurant would close in about a month. She wouldn't say what new business will occupy the space. If you've heard anything, let us know.
