Tea and Bar Bites: Two Webster Street Spots Worth a Visit

Hawker Fare and Tea Here Now couldn't be more different, but they both appeal to a restaurant reviewer.

Two Oakland spots a few blocks apart on Webster Street, near Lake Merritt, are are worth a visit, reports the East Bay Express.

Hawker Fare, the humble but heavenly rice bowl shop at 2300 Webster St., has an updated bar bites menu to go along with its new full liquor license, the Express says. Read the complete Express article on Hawker Fare here.

Not far away, Tea Here Now at 1721-1/2 Webster St. serves up a small but stellar collection of teas in its tiny shop, according to the Express. Read the complete article, "Two Local Teashops That Could Make You Care About Tea," here
