Rockridge-Oakland Death Notices

Some of the people with ties to the Oakland area who passed away recently

William Dunn, a resident of Oakland, was a retired employee of the Department of the Treasury. He was also a long-time member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He passed away on July 26 at the age of 76.

Alice J. Lee, a resident of Oakland, will be remembered by family and friends at a funeral service on Aug. 10. Lee passed away on July 28 at the age of 95.

Dudley Angle Jr., a resident of Oakland, was a native of New Orleans who moved with his family to California. He attended McClymonds High School and served in the U.S. Army. He passed on July 21 at the age of 76.

Dr. Alden Badal, a resident of Danville, worked in the Oakland school district in various administrative posts for 19 years. He was also San Lorenzo school district superintendent from 1978 to 1992. He was active in the Community Presbyterian Church in Danville. Badal passed away on July 29 at the age of 83.

Barbara Cotruvo, a resident of Healdsburg, attended Oakland Technical School and worked at Wells Fargo Bank. She passed on July 26 at the age of 75.
