Officials Identify Woman Fatally Shot in East Oakland

Brigid Palmer died on Wednesday morning.

A woman who was fatally shot in East Oakland early Wednesday morning has been identified by police as 26-year-old Brigid Palmer. Oakland police said Palmer had addresses in both Oakland and Bay Point.
 
Officers who responded to a report of gunfire found Palmer on the sidewalk outside an apartment complex at the corner of 100th Avenue and International Boulevard at about 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
 
Palmer was suffering from at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. No arrests have been made in the fatal shooting and Oakland police have not disclosed any information about a motive or suspects.
