99.9% of people driving drunk and causing fatalities and accidents have a blood alcohol level wayRead More over .08 This attempt to legislate away DUI is not evidence based.

Why don't they come up with a legal limit for the THC in all the stoners out there?

No. .08 is DUI and .05 is not. Yes, a person may have had a drink, but would not show impairmentRead More unless mixed with some drugs (legal or illegal).

The Partition area, wide opened, is approx 12inches in height. A survivor said she squeezed to getRead More thru, so obviously it was not opened all the way by the driver to allow the women an escape-access! Also, Ive read that 3 survivors escaped thru the right back door..., so why couldnt the others? In the TV News pics, the Survivors sat calmly on the side of the road... looked numb & out of it? I would have been jumping, yelling, trying to stop traffic to help us! It was hard for me to see them just sitting there quietly..., were they intoxicated? In shock? I wish the driver had, in a 2 second flash, opened the Partition all the way down as he "jumped out to save his skin" & gone to the right side to secure the door open. The flames were left-sided rear. OR was he thinkg that more air/ O2 would have lit up fire more, OR was his electricity out by the Fire? DID he try breakg a rear window open w/ his shoe at least? All of it is puzz'ling & a tragedy that has so so many unanswered questions. We count on the Captain to help us..., but remember the sunk Greek cruise ship?? Captain got off & rowed away first!! My heart goes out to the deceased here, and survivors as well.

Shame indeed! This is how we treat folks most impacted by violence?! Shame on us for punishing whenRead More we should be consoling.

What about the fact that the mother of the 19 year-old who was killed has been evicted from herRead More home? Because her son was shot in front of her house, she has been deemed a public nuisance. For shame.

There is a rough and wide groove in the fast lane on both directions of hwy13. It was left afterRead More some construction a few years ago. Cars get tossed back and forth by that groove. This fatality was just a matter of time and, in my opinion, that groove contributed to its occurrence. I notice many drivers panic and slow down to 50mph and sometimes slower in the fast lane because they can't handle their vehicle after they encounter the groove. This is northbound as well as southbound, and in the rain it's twice as bad.

About 2 months ago, Donitra threatened to kill me after an argument we had in our college class whenRead More she was cheating on an assignment. She followed me after class and threatened to shoot me. I reported her to the campus police and they talked to her and she apologized, saying she was just mad and spoke out of anger. She told the cop to apologize to me since she wasn't allowed to speak to me. She stopped coming to class a month ago since she was getting kicked out of her apartment and was trying to find housing. Then our professor announced today she died. It's ironically tragic how she was threatening to murder me over such a small disagreement in class and it almost got her kicked out of our college. Now she gets murdered. I feel so sorry for her life and poor choices she made... she was clearly struggling with her own issues and demons and I was on the receiving end of one of her "bad days", as she had told the cop. I hate to admit that karma got her back, but it did. May she rest in peace and I hope her soul finds peace wherever it is.
