JSanders... why don't you explain what you think "Destined for Greatness" means to you? IfRead More you have watched the news and seen the interviews with many of his fellow students and coaches, it seems as though this young man had an upbeat and inspiring personality that affected those around him in a positive way. In my book that is greatness. To be a person who brings out the best in others is truly rare. I imagine my definition of greatness is likely different than yours, simply because there is not much that I have ever agreed with you when I see your postings on this site. The negative comments that I read sadden me, and even more so the number of recommendations following those comments. It says a lot about the negativity either of this community or the followers on this website. Pearson Lyverse gave a personal perspective which I certainly appreciated, why do you need to refer to it as a "rant." It is simply disrespectful. The REAL topic here is a life lost too soon.

I would still like to hear JSanders definition of "Greatness." He seems to have the needRead More to diminish the perspective of those who actually knew him.

What is the point of re-running, and re-running, this story about Ted Agu? It has been running asRead More the subject line for the Rockridge Patch since February 7th, with no update about the issue of sports-related deaths of athletes. This is callous and disrespectful to Mr. Agu's memory.
